But the story behind our company is a little different than most.

My journey into the pest control industry wasn’t something I originally planned. I began my career working as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic. Life was moving in that direction until I suddenly became seriously ill and nearly lost my life. During that time, doctors told me I might never be able to work again.

My family and I refused to accept that outcome.

While recovering and living with my brother, who owns a pest control company, he invited me to ride along with him on his service route. What started as a way to slowly get back on my feet turned into something much more. Once my health stabilized, I began running a route myself and quickly discovered a passion for the industry.

I fell in love with helping people solve real problems in their homes — from scorpions and spiders to rodents and other Arizona pests. What started as a step toward recovery soon became my career and my passion.

After gaining several years of hands-on experience in the industry, I eventually relocated back to Yavapai County, where I continued working for another pest control company and expanded my knowledge of Arizona pest control, scorpion treatments, rodent control, and termite protection.

All of that experience led to the creation of 180 Pest Control.
